Curious Always.
Most designers will hand you a logo or art and wish you luck.
I'm more interested in what happens next when your team implements it, when the tools change, and when you need to move fast without losing what makes your brand yours. That's the work I stay for. AI is changing our world, and I want to help you use it effectively so it saves you time without overwhelming you with all the options.
I'm Michael Hren. I've spent my career at the intersection of brand craft and creative strategy, helping companies and brands figure out not just what they look like, but how to hold onto that identity as they grow. I've done this for organizations of every size, from startups finding their footing to established Fortune 500 brands like Boeing navigating what's next.
Along the way, I've picked up a few things: a US patent holder for a software product, recognition from Communication Arts, PRSA, and GDUSA, and a genuine conviction that the best design work starts with a really good question about why.
These days I'm especially interested in helping brands build the creative infrastructure that keeps them consistent; the systems, workflows, and custom tools that make great design repeatable, not accidental. Not because it's trendy, but because I've watched too many good brands drift when the team gets busy and the guardrails aren't there.
If that sounds like something you're thinking about, I'd like to hear what you're working on.
